Hi, I am trying to trace any relatives of a George Capell, He married a Rose Ellen? and they were both born around 1898, they had five children Albert Frank, Barbara, May and Dorisand Joyce, and they lived in Northampton, but I am not sure they originated from there.. if anyone has any information I would be most grateful Regards Julie

Hi,
My name is Lynne Derry (nee Capell) born 1943. I don't know if you are another branch of my great-granparents' tree. I was born in Northampton,my father was William George Capell son of William, grandson of Samuel Capell.My grandfather was born in approximately 1881 and my Dad was born eldest of 4 boys in 1914.I believe that my grandfather had several brothers and sisters, including a George. My grandfather was married to Florence(obviously a fairly late marriage as they were 33 ish when Dad was born). I don't know my grandmother Florence's surname.Dad had 3 brothers Frank (who died aged 16) born in 1916 Wilfred Douglas born 1918 and Eric born 1920 ish as far as I know.Do please let me know if you think there is a connection - I just thought Capell is a fairly unusual name and especially coming from N'ton. I now live in Lincs. and have one sister still in Northamptonshire, We both attended Notre Dame High School in Northampton between 1954 and 1963. It would be good to hear of a link.

Hi

I have been tracing the Capells in the Northampton area my GG Grandfather is Samual born aprox 1830 wife Elizabeth. He had quite a few offspring inluding Harriett 1879, William 1881, George 1882 my G Grandfather Alfred 1883 to name a few. It would be great to hear if there was a link.

Lots of Capell's in Northamptonshire. Do you have any idea of the town where he was born.
