My name is William Oliver Collins, son of William Oliver Collins JNR, who in turn is Son of William Oliver Collins SNR. Im trying to find out what happened to my Great Grand father who is also believed to be born William Collins. I have been told that he was of fair ground folk of the london area around the late 1800's - early 1900's. My grand fathers parents were married young but what I know so far is that the marraige was forced to end by Williams Parents after the birth of my grand father, which left my Great grandmother Caroline (Surname unknown) to raise my Grand father alone. No one has heard or tried to trace him since. Essentially I am the oldest of the oldest son. My grand father had 10 Childrem by the names of William Oliver (my father), Joan, Julie, Jackey, Jill, June, Janet, Jeffery, James and John. Anyone who can shed some light on my Great Grand Father would be a great help!!! |
