what we expect Patricia is for you to abide by the rules of GR and to respect the privacy of living people - I have an aunt who will be 104 this month but I would not like to see details of her life put on the WWW for everyone to see - unless it was with her knowledge - I doubt the people whose details you have published have any knowledge what you have done - you should delete ASAP

Barry, why not put them in *your* tree?

You're related, so it should be easy enough to put a tree on here that has you, your parent and your grandparents, and your aunt and uncle, and their children.

If they come to GR looking for family, they are far more likely to do it by searching trees here, as everybody suggested you do. (You can put up a tree and search trees without paying.) If they did happen to post on the boards, everybody would suggest they search trees too!

GR even sends out email every two weeks reporting if a "match" is found for a name in your tree.

Just make sure that you keep your email address up to date in your account details at this site.

(If you don't hear back from the people you sent messages, it is probably because they didn't do that -- if they changed email addresses but didn't update the address in their account here, they won't get notice that you have sent a message, and won't see it unless they come back to look at this site, which many people don't.)

Everybody here is just a member of this site like you.

We don't have records.

We pay for subscriptions to sites where we can search records. That's all anybody here can do. That's what they've done.

It isn't exactly polite for you to completely ignore what people have said, as you have been doing. Numerous suggestions have been made by people volunteering their time and efforts to help you. You might pay a bit of notice.
