After a long (un-necessary) search I have managed to locate my grandmother on BMD register - Joyce Davison 1928 Quarter 2- Dover . My dad told me that there was no connection with Kent, then I got her Death certificate and it stated birth place as Dover, Kent! (Thanks dad!) Anyway, it says mothers maiden name as Hoare so have been looking for a possible Hoare-Davison marriage but to no avail - unless I missed it! Eyes start aching after a while! I have her and her sister's marriage certificates and neither of them state father's name, if I have been told rightly they were ophaned at a young age . I can give more details if needed, any help would be appreciated ! |

Hi thanks for your replies! I haven't obtained a copy of her birth certificate yet but will do as soon as I can afford to! |
