I have my ggf’s death certificate showing he died at the
Royal Alfred Infirm House Belvedere, I believe this was part of the Royal Alfred Seamen’s Home, in August 1941, aged 85. His wife died in 1922 age 62. She is on her death certificate as Eliza, but her grave shows her as Elina, this was the name she was known as.

I am stuck in that I can not find a birth or marriage for either of them, nor the birth of the daughters, I believe there were three. Can anyone help?

Also trying to find more about the Royal Alfred and if the records are anywhere

Many thanks
Terrie
