I'm Looking for the Jowsey's from Whitby Yorkshire. Anyone looking for Jowsey's from Whitby get in touch.

Hello Claire,

My great grandmother was Hannah Jane Jowsey, born in Whitby in 1849. She married William McCormick in Stockton On Tees, and they later moved to Middlesbrough, Yorkshire, (now called Cleveland).

The McCormicks originally came from Carlilse in Cumbria.

I do not know much about Hannah's family.
She is shown on some of the census records for Middlesbrough, as Jane A.
