I may have found a child of Annie & Herbert Kilby.
June qtr 1910 Herbert, Frank, Kilby Leicester 7a 221. But NO mothers maiden name - any ideas why this might be & how I can be sure this is a son of theirs??

Why would a child aged 3 be living with another family ? in an already overcrowded house by the looks of it? who are his parents? what happened to them?

Hi Len Kilby, from Leicester was my uncle. His mum was Annie, she had several children I believe including my mum Irene Mann ( so she must have married a Mann)? Irene was born in Leicester in July 1922.
Annies maiden name was Fowkes born in Feb 1892 in Leicester.
Not sure if Len was older than my mum? Have a vague recall that Lens wife / partner may have been called Joan?
When I knew him he lived alone so not sure what happened.
Does anyone know Len / Irene / Annie or any of their families? I know not a lot about my gran and her children and her husband - can you help please?
