My name is Andrew Littlejohns and I am a Littlejohns from County Durham and have just started to trace my family tree.

There are not many of us up here and I remember my father telling me that the family came north from Devon to work in the coal mines.

I am also aware that Thomas is a family name and has been passed down through the family.

My Grandfather was Thomas James Littlejohns born c1900 and I can find no records of his birth up here. Does this name mean anything?
