Member Since: April 2004 Posts: 4 Send Message	Trying to find out more about my g-g-g-grandfather William McGill, born maybe about 1796, also his wife Martha (surname not known) possibly born around the same year. Don't know where they were born, possibly Ireland or Scotland. Also looking for more about their son, also named William McGill, born Ireland about 1818 and his wife Margaret Strang, born Ireland about 1824. They came over from Ireland to Scotland about 1848, firstly to Stranraer and then later to Glasgow where they both died. Any assistance would be most appreciated. Thanks, Richard
