Hello. I'm trying to find some information on my 2 x g/grandmother Harriet HOPKINS born in Westwell Oxfordshire in 1840 - father John HOPKINS and mother Hannah BUNCE. I know she married William MUSTOE in 1862 in Wiltshire and they took up residence in Gloucestershire. They officially had a total of 6 children, but I know that William MUSTOE fathered only 2 of them as he was sent to Australia as a convict. The remaining 4 children (one of them my g/grandfather) have the name Mustoe on their birth certificates, but can definitely not be MUSTOES. Census information tells me she married Charles SMART some time between 1881 and 1891 in Gls. The next census tells me she married again between 1891 and 1901 to Thomas HARPER. She spent her life in Gls, mainly in Burton on the Water and finally at Eastern Cirencester. Her 6 children are: William John MUSTOE Mary Eliza MUSTOE Frederick John David MUSTOE Charles Abraham MUSTOE Lavinia Sarah MUSTOE George Thomas MUSTOE If anybody has information on Harriet's children, or indeed on the very colourful Harriet, I would love to hear from you.
