I can trace Lily, husband and children from her marriage in 1884 until her death in 1949. In the 20's she emigrated with her son to Australia - so she's a real jet setter!! It's Lily's family now I'm very interested in I think the more difficult it becomes the more you want to crack it.

I dont know your source for Jane's maiden but saw this;

Hi Jim

I got Jane Holland from Lily's Death Certificate. It seems Australian death certs have fathers name and occupation, mother name and maiden name and also lists all of her children and their ages at time of her death. I've just had another look and it definately looks like Holland - but could be Molland?

Gaines family looks very intesting - dates could be right but there is also another child appearing Mary born UK before going to the US?
