it was his second chrisian name that was wrong , the p stood for something other than patrick
i havent been able to get in touch with uncle yet and i think his phone isnt plugged in , well spoke to my mum and she remembers my dad telling her about co mayo and co clare where my dads parents came from ,trust my dad to be akward and have parents from ireland ha ha , im still going with murray till i know different ,

Hi Christine ,just found out that the certifficate of my dads birth i was waiting on wasnt the one i needed fortunatly i only had to pay for the checking process and got my money back ,, so now im sure its murray mmn ,unless its still the wrong tree , oh well here goes hours of searching ha ha ,

lilly i think was born 1914 mar quarter
its the only rose born with murray mmn in york ,

mum mentioed county mayo or cork but who knows what my mum's memory is like ,

this is the problem see ,ant find any mathing siblings , the only reason i can think of is that joseph and rose had different mothers , or maybe my gr father had more than one wife ,( you never know it might be true ha ha)
im so stressed ,,just a thought they might of been born in ireland ,

I've done 1920-22 and the only Joseph P is Q3 1920 Tynemouth MMN Kirtley, lots of just Joseph but none with the 2 MMN Masters or Murray and none in York.

well that is one of the things im struggling with , i think joseph patrick was born around 1920 0r later as he's younger than my dad
cant helpmuch more than that untill i talk to him but he seems to be out , tried calling him every half hour , thanks

Only thing I can suggest is finding out the birth year of one of the other siblings and then I'll look for that.

Do you know that he is still alive as he would be 89 now.

dont have mum marriage cert sorry ,,its doing my head in ha ha , my mothers side is a lot easier ,

The birth reg with Masters as maiden name was Towcester, Northampton wasn't it?

Do you have your mother's marriage cert as that will give your grandfathers name and we should be able to trace his marriage.

Just found the marriage in Towcester and that one is also James.

The lastest census available is 1901 so you have to get to know your grandparents names for that.

im trying somehow to match the siblings up with mother MMN, i have my uncles phone number so at the min trying to get intouch with him for more info

i have looked at murray and masters but i cant find anyother siblings except a liillian ,, can you do census lookups? i know the latter ones are harder to find . found out from my mum that he was born in york but the others might not of been born there , i just sent off for my dads birth certif with masters MMN , totally think i have someone elses certif now ,
ps i havent spoken to my dad in 30 odd years
