Well, the father's name certainly does not say John - I 'think' it might be Pat with one of those little k's written higher up (can't remember what you call them) i.e. Patrick, but I will try and follow them up and down the census to see where it leads. - He certainly has the correct occupation and the date for Margaret's birth is about right.

Hi Dea,

Mary's find does look promising, and if you look at the images they have no address - they follow on from the previous page so maybe at same address. The image shows the records are for the even numbers in the street - so maybe they are related to the other Irish family recorded on the previous page at no.28 - the next family down from them is at no.30.

Trouble is, I just can't decipher the handwriting!
