looked at certificates and have replied above - mother Electa so back to Thomas & jabe a Inze's grandparents

yes, this is the bit that is confusing me, mainly thomas and jane hirst...............and the children i would belive to be theres , but were is their lace in all this , as i dont know the connection to who the two are, obviously not inzes parents??

William Hammond Parker who married Electa/Electra Hirst was ..... a hairdresser

as that is not a terribly common occupation for a man I would not have thought at that time I would say William Hirst from the marriage certificate and William Parker are one and the same person

from the birth certificate I would definitely say Inze's mother's name was Electa and as there was no father named she was unmarried

It was fairly common for someone to make up a father's name on a marriage certificate if they were born illegitimate so Inza may just have picked her step-father's name.

What was William Parker's occupation?

Both Hirst and Eliza are common names in Yorkshire so that link is possibly not connected

still not 100% sure of eliza, but like finding inze was difficult at first, as some had her as emzie ect, so spelling variations again could make it possible .........

and again, i already have inze inmate info and everything about were she stayed in the workhouse ect, dont need all that ifo about her again..............

i shall double check the eliza issue..................

on your other thread you said you could not read Inze's mother's name. The interpretation you put on it could match with her mother being Electra/Elector Hirst (unmarried)

Are you sure Inze's marriage certificate said her father was William Hirst not William Parker? It is possible that the name was written incorrectly - it would not be the first time the registrar made assumptions if the question 'what is your father's name' was just answered with the word 'William'. Does the occupation stated match that of William Parker on his marriage certificate to Electra?

yes that is all correct, and no i cant find nothing in census yet for william and eliza.. but i know these are her parents as i have both inzes birth cert and marriage cert xx

If so, then Eliza's maiden name is Hirst?
Do you mean 1889 as you have put 1989?
Have you found her in censuses with parents William and Eliza?

yes i have already got that information.................and even info to the workhouse she was in, very interesting.

inze was born in 5th may 1989.
i have her parents, and they are william Hirst and eliza hirst. ( no maiden name for her yet).

But someone keeps telling me her parents are thomas and jane, this is not so, io im trying to figure out all the children in the list one above, as to who is who.

Inze is in a workhouse in 1911, so hardly a naughty girl, unless you count poverty as a sin.
