Potty, Thanks for all the time you have spent on this Puzzle.
With my Ann Teed (c.1818), Teed would have been her married name, so i dont think she is the Ann Teed you have found unless i am missing something? From the Dec 1854 Marriage index it looks like Pilet/Pilot Leed/Seed married Ann Teed?

That 1851 Census could be my Ann, meaning her maiden name was Seaman, but that Ann Seaman and William Teed Marriage is too early and has the wrong spouses name (should be Pilot b. 1829)

It is possible that William and this Ann are related to the line somewhere though?

Edited to add: Just looked at that again. Possibly Ann Seaman married William Teed, had two children (William and Margaret) then William died. William Jr and Margaret then became known as Seamans (1851) and Ann Teed nee Seaman remarried Pilot Teed?

I think i have found Pilots death:
Name: Pilot Tidd
Estimated Birth Year: abt 1828
Year of Registration: 1882
Quarter of Registration: Oct-Nov-Dec
Age at Death: 54
District: Houghton Le Spring
County: Durham
Volume: 10a
Page: 257 (click to see others on page)

Yet another different spelling of the surname though!

I'm trying to decide which certificates to order to comfirm these people are who i think they are.
I wonder if the Ann Teed 1854 Marriage would be the best place to start?

Hi Gemma

I think I would get Charlotte's birth cert first. It should give Ann's maiden name and also any previous married name. This would confirm the previous marriage.

I wonder if this is the baptism of Margaret b1837 although the birth it gives is only two months after the marriage I found for Ann Seaman and William Teed:

Margaret Ann Teed Pedigree

Event(s):
Birth: 19 NOV 1837

Have had another look at the IGI marriage for William and Ann - it also gives William's father as William.

Thanks, I have ordered Charlotte's birth certificate.

I wonder if this could be William Henry's death:
Name: William Henry Teed
Year of Registration: 1843
Quarter of Registration: Jan-Feb-Mar
District: Wisbech
County: Cambridgeshire, Norfolk
Volume: 14
