There is a marriage for an Olive B Watson to James Arcibald in 1974 in Sunderland.

There is a James Archibald aged 60-64 in Sunderland showing on 192.com as being listed in 2002-2007 electoral roll but there is no Olive Archibald listed.

hello cassandra
i didn't have a brother called raymond (i think) and thanks for the info on jean. im in town next week so i will look at the info for the birth of jean and also the info on the olive and james archibald marriage. i was also considering visiting a posible address for james archibald that sheila so kindly helped me with. has anyone ever visited possible family links, just turning up on the doorstep out of the blue.

No I've never had to do that, when I found my grandfathers sisters family ( on 192.com ) I wrote them a letter enclosing a SAE. Luckily they wrote back! everythings worked out well.

I wish you GOOD LUCK whatever you decide to do.

Just to let you know I've looked thru the death index from 1937-1952, there's no sign of Jean under Teesdale or Teasdale. There's nothing on CWGC site either.
