i have Eliza married to a crewe / Glide
And glide married to a Barrasin
and Sophie Crewe god mother in the same street as Barrasin's

there are a lot of Crewe families in Guernsey and a Mary Crewe married name born eng so this mary maybe Sophies Parents the godmother ,she was born guernsey so i can check her out next time,Maybe with any luck her father came from devon too,looks likly with family ties here.

If you Google Greenwich Hospital Schools there are a lot of sites giving information. It would appear that as William jnr was from a seafaring family and was now motherless he could be nominated for a place in the school

AND
Alice A Crews is ALICE ANGEL CREWS and she is listed as a Niece. So with ANGEL being Alice's middle name I think this is now a firm link that Eliza Crews was Eliza Angel.

They must have been so poor,It seems that most of the children they both had ended up the same.This is going to take some sorting out with both being married twice Hahahaha
