Helen, I got them on the 1911 cenus too :)). Christine kindy looked it up for me.
If your still bored, theres a Jonathan Hoad c 1816 got sent to Tasmania for 10 yrs.
I wondered if he was related to the ones I'm looking at.
I think I found him on the 1841 with a wife Susan/Susanagh. Cant see him after that though.
He might be be from that family I just got curiuos...as you do lol as to what happened to him.

It seems he was convicted twice, second time was 10yr in Tasmania.

I'm sure I read he was given 3 mth for theft then 10y for something. I cant view the image.
