I think this is Mildreds' birth registration, however the surname has been slightly misspelt;

BANTING Mildred Sally Walsingham 4b 300

Hi Spike,

Like Minnie has said Eliza wasn't married before just a mix up on the 1891 census and the Bunting name was misinterpretated to Marrell, but looking at the original census return the name is definately Bunting.

I'll see if I can pinpoint a marrige for Thomas Bunting and Eliza. There was a problem on Genes last night and it was very difficult to post the information.

Penny Report 11 Mar 2010 08:32

Marrell was the next door neighbours/shared the same dwelling , probably not related at all.

all that has happened is someone forgot to put a / in when transcribing

john brown
nellie brown
/
john smith
helen smith

=two families

without the / they would all probably be recorded as brown

Hi Dee,
I was just wondering if Eliza had been married before becoming a Bunting? Have never heard of the name Marrell this is very interesting. This one is going to flummox my Dad.
Thanks for the help.

My Father has told me that Mabel was born in Wells next to the Sea Norfolk the nearest I've got to is Tivetshall St Mary just out side of Norwich. Mabel is My Great Grandmother, Grandmother to my Father. He said that her family worked for Queen Victoria at the Sandringham Estate. I do not know when she was born, She married a William Manser who was a Gunsmith. My parents have a piece of his work in Gunmetal.. They had three children, Hilda my Grandmother b1908, Vera, Ronald and Lily, who was living in Lowestoft upuntil 5 years ago.
