looks like Agnes came back on 13 May 1929 proposed address in Uk was Denton Halt, Gravesend Kent - she was alone. Ships name Doric

Agnes and James were married before they went to Canada their marriage is on Ancestry - defo her as occ. fits and fathers name is Frederick a signalman.

So would she have gone to Canada under her maiden name.

Got all muddled now!! as we seem to be jumping around a lot.

Can we please go back and see if we can get further with Ernest Stone's family. My poor old brain can't cope!!

yes she did marry not sure if in England or Canada. Would imagine Canada because my Aunt said when she came to England her husband was still alive but was not fit to travel.

Hi girls just been in touch with my aunt and she tells me that Agnes emigrated to Canada. She came over in the 1980s and said it was the first time in 62 years that she had been back to the U.K. Dont know if there are any ships documents showing when she actually left for Canada
