Which country should we be looking in ??

Do you have their marriage certificate ?

This should also have (at least) their fathers names, which will help find them on the 1911 census.

I have found my grandfathers and my grandmothers marriage, but I cannot find either of their births!
My Grandfather is William G H Wallis (somewhere between 1900-1910 I think) he shows up as William G H on the marriage, but on my fathers adoption cert it says Henry William Wallis, I also cannot find a death for him.....
My Grandmother was Nellie Wallis (Nee Baker) b1905 (Sept) she died in Nov 2001, I've found the death cert but cannot find the birth for her :o( they married in 1927

I think I need help! 6 yrs on this now and nothing!!
