O.k everything is correct William must have moved out when he was 16/17 and was boarding with the other household above.

That makes sense and is correct.

Thanks

Ag.Lab = Agricultural Labourer (so he would have worked on a farm)

I am trying to find out any information on my great great grandfather Sidney F Tooke i cannot find any more details on him apart from when he died and his rank.

Name: Sidney F Tooke
Rank: Private 21191
Previos: 10713, The Buffs
2nd Battalion, Northamptonshire regiment.

i would like to find out if he had a buiral or even a photo.

I have seen the news today about the soliders in ww1 that have been honered today in the same time period as Sidney in battle in Framer, france further down from Somme.

No Surname Rank Service Number Date Of Death Age Regiment/Service Nationality Grave/Memorial Ref. Cemetery/Memorial Name

He's at the Thiepval Memorial with two of my own great uncles.

If you are pretty sure that this is your relative, then you might want to get his record amended, to give the name of his parents, and the place of his origin. If you want to do this contact me by PM, cos I have done it.

Lucy,
If you look back to page 1 at my posting of (16th July 2010 21:38) I have posted his Army record and place of death and burial.
On page 2 my posting of (17th July 2010 16:57) there is also lots of info on the Memorial where he is buried.

Sorry Catherine, I must have missed that for some reason. So we both found the same info, so extra reassurance to Lucy.
