Ladt Kira,

Very possible. Henry Ernest's father was a Daniel. However my info is that his mother was a Jane Willis.
Further checking needed here.

The 1991 census lists them as married 21 years so the Fulham marriage that Fanny found could be the one. I can't see any others

You need the marriage cert without a doubt.

Too many Phillips to be 100% certain you dont go barking up the wrong tree............

K.

Looks like Mary 71 is the mother of Ernest rather than Hannah, as his mother was a mary Crowcher

Their marriage cert may have a fathers name on it for her.

Do you have it?

vespasian Report 18 Jul 2010 11:21

Elizabeth Henrietta Phillips was the daughter of Henry Ernest Phillips 1870 and Hannah Phillips c1869

Dilemma!. Are they genetically related ?.

Henry Ernest's line has been tracked back to a John Phillips c1820, but we cannot move any further on Hannah.

I am researching this family on behalf of a friend who is the granddaughter of Hannah. She has some vague reference to a George Phillips 1841 who just may be Hannah's father. He was born in Dudley WarwicKshire.

Any help in this direction would be gratefully received.
