I thought those helping me here might be interested in knowing that the address for Albert E in 1911,458 Weelsby street is still there on the google street view...I think the buildings look that old..

will update here when I get the birth cert for Annie...soon!

Update, Birth certificate has arrived :( I'm none the wiser lol,
Annie Pass born1903 , mother Maria , no father named.

But you are really - you have confirmed her mother as Maria and we didn't know that for sure (did we?). I do think they are the Maria and Annie in 1911.
What address have you got on the birth cert?

Hi Jan, yes we know for sure that Maria and Annie are mum and daughter, and it confirms Maria for the 1901 as she was a domestic servant ...I was hoping it would have a father's name just to confirm or otherwise whether Annie was Albert's child,

Not sure if you'll ever know unless you maybe find a baptism. Pity!

I'd have liked to know what happened to her in any case, but there doesn't seem to be a marriage or death

ohh hold on just found her on a tree, exact date of birth!

Really? How interesting!
Also - did you check out the address on the birth cert in 1911? Might be useful, who knows.

I've sent a message to the tree owner Jan, though they may not now be a member ( Ancestry) they have a death date and a spouse...but I'm not finding either in the records !
