PricklyHolly Report 31 Jul 2010 14:35

The 1911 states Benjamin and Margaret were married 28 years, which fits with the info you found, so she cant have died in 1901.

Andrew

Andrew Report 31 Jul 2010 13:51

Could be the census enumerator simply got it wrong. I can't see Cecily on the 1871 census. All of the other children havr birth records as well, but no Sinclair

EDIT Thanks FBG, geat minds and all that!

Andy

FannyByGaslight

FannyByGaslight Report 31 Jul 2010 13:51

I have to agree with Andy that they are most likely the same child on census 1871 and 1881.

The enumerator may have been having a bad day in 1871 or have been deaf ?

The ages are right and the birthplace.

And where was Cecily on 1871?

I am with Andy on this one.
