Hello again.
How quick is that?
Yes my wife says he was born 1881 and now after seeing the name Lydia Parry, she has remembered her mother mentioning that name.
Great you are on the right track.
Thanks so much.

Glenn, marriage is really easy to find, so have a go. You really need to familiarise yourself with the freebmd site as pointed out by Christine as it's easy to use and invaluable for births, marriages and deaths 1837 onwards till about 1940's.

This appears to be the marriage and would give you their ages.

Emma appears to have been listed under 2 names so possibly a second marriage.

Emma's maiden name must have been Powell.

You should be able to trace a marriage on the above site.

Hi.
My wife's grandfather was William Augustus Parry. We don't know from where he originated. He onced lived in Kennsington, and later in the 1940's and 1950's at 69, Shepherds Bush Road, London.
His wife was Emma. No surname I'm afraid, but they had four children. Violet 1918; David 1922; Rose 1924; and Stephen 1926.

We have tried for ages to find info on him, but always a blank.
Some of you out there are brilliant at helping people like me, who are not so well up with the internet sites. I hope you can help us here.

Thank you Sheps.
