Hello Anne, the surname Howlett is not very common.
I have a Mary Howlett c1745 in my tree born at Pockthorpe, Norwich, England.
Perhaps they were related. My tree should be open take a look and see if you can make a connection.

Can anyone help me with information on George Warren and his wife Elizabeth Howlett. They are the parents of Thomas Howlett Warren who was born in 1734, so I should imagine they were born in the early 1700's

Thank you Ann of Green Gables I'm trawling through them. I think anyone born round the East London area must be connected to the family. They all had loads of children, who seemed to have loads of children. It's a wonder South Africa isn't populated with just Warrens. There are quite a few family names, but some names I'm not familiar with as well. My cousin is also looking at a few so we'll get some connections in the end. We really are grateful for your help.
