that's because if you read we have been experiencing problems with this infuriating site - I have sent a stack of info via Mel to her personal email address as it would not let me add to this thread - all of a sudden it is letting me!!

Im not sure how many lines you are researching and who for.

I do think that you have been on here asking for help for a very long time (years) and you know that it should be one thread

You also have a variety of accounts and user names? A bit odd if you ask me

very odd indeed - wonder why he hasn't come back here? I worked very hard with Mel to try and get the information through to him - doing it by private home email was tedious but certainly not appreciated by Mark in any way - I think we will long remember Mark and his many postings

and just so you know the lengths I went to to send you some info via Mel - I sent her eleven emails wich she was going to attempt to send to you!!!

Mark is a well-known multiple poster.

I don't know whether he's ever tried using familysearch and pilot.familysearch himself, just for starters, and if not, why not.

Since they're so readily accessible and easily used, I've never thought there was any need to reproduce reams of (possibly related) records from those sources in threads here. ;)

I've tried asking whether people having the C&P problem are using IE. I have no problem C&Ping from anywhere to here in Firefox. I suspect the problem is that IE tries to bring formatting with it.

just found a pm from Mark asking me send the info to his home email address - unfortunately Mark I just can't go through all that again, having already sent it to Mel - why don't you use the site I gave to Ann - a few postings back - and you can find it all for yourself - dead easy to use and if you keep clicking on "family" on the right hand side of the info it will take you back to the thirteenth century - wish my tree went back that far
