Clearly if she was born 1842 then her father would be much older ?

Lydia could'nt have been George Thomas Stevens daughter if she was born in about 1842!!

hi everyone thankyou for all your help, i got george thomas stevens from
some one called micheal cross who came up as a hot match on genes
he matched with my lydia susan cross this is what he sent me
lydias brother albert victor was my paternal grandfather.he married my nan ,florence wolhemina bailey at homerton parish church on the 23 april 1916, and my farther also named albert victor ( known to everyone as charlie)was born 23 jan 1917 albert was killedsoon afterdads birth on the 4 oct0ber 1917 florence remarried a couple of years later to herbert william perriman who we belive was a friend of alberts
i have alsotracedalbert and lydias mother her maiden name was stevensand her father was george william thomas born in 1840 but as yet i have not traced her mothert .their father was percy william cross whose parents were i believe was richard cross born in ely around 1837 and their mother was also lydia and she was born around 1842. this matches my dads side wich all of you helped me find when i asked for infr on ther cross family eg lydia susan and percy williambut i did not know about the stevens or dtephens thankyou all again for your haelp sue
