Lindsey the 1881 census for George Thoms Steven with dau Hannah born 1864 is missing on Ancestry. They have them transcribed together but only the two children Hannah and George Junior are on it on page 38 I think. When you go back a page it is entry 199 and when you turn the page it is household 205.

I think the best way to prove Lydias maiden name is to buy one of the younger children birth certs ?

I too could'nt find Richard on the 1851 census.

Just shows you how people can go wrong taking info from someone elses tree though dos'nt it.

Lol Lindsey, there was a big hide and leather works in the village, so that would tie in, can't find Richard in 1851 though...
