The family who were in Glengarry on the 1891 census are in Vermont, USA on the 1900 census. Thomas is a widower and he has his parents living with him. They are Ellis born June 1834, England and Maria born Sep. 1833, England.

I think you're jumping to too many conclusions, Debra, thinking that every Thomas Reeve you see is the same fellow. This is the one who was in Glengarry County, Ontario in 1891 and in Vermont, USA in 1900:

His occupation was laborer and last address was Windsor, Ontario, Canada. He had $50 on him. He'd previously been in US in transit 1882-1883 and 1885-1896. He'd been to Argyll (NY), Chicago, Denver & Portland. It looks like he'd arrived this visit on the SS Ascania in Detroit on 23/12/1912. He'd paid his own passage and his onward destination was Detroit (he gave no definite address). He was 5 ft 7 1/2 in tall, Had grey hair, blue eyes and was partially bald.

But how do you know for certain that he is your Thomas? Have you linked him definitely to the parents or the right address? Earlier you said he was definitely the one who was married to Issabella in Glengarry County.

But weren't your John & Maria living at 111 Dersingham Ave., Manor Park County, Essex on the 1911 census? But the Thomas who arrived in America in 1913 gives his father John's address as 30 Antill Row, London.

Yes - Just checked Google Maps the addresses are 5 miles apart, could have quite easily move addresses

Please can someone do a 1911 census on the below information
suspect it is Harriet already abandoned - daughter Ethel is living with Harriet's parents

Just need to find the elusive Thomas now, we know he runs off to Canada in Dec 1912 but it looks like he left Harriet even earlier.
