Know nothing of Roswell and Harriet - Mary was married to John Howard 1890-1869 one child unknown.

OK Mark, so on the photo of the grave did it indicate that Harriet ever married, or must she have died a spinster?

This census is now saying that both Roswell H and Sarah J's father's were English. The couple had been married 18 years and had 5 children, all living.

I think the death that K found might be a different person (but perhaps a cousin as the name is unusual) as I found that person in a different census - birth year is different.

There are a LOT of Mary Howards with husband John - if you can find out one of the children's names I'll see if I can find them on census.

The only child i have no name given on tree which is not answering my emails is a girl b. Logan, Cache County, Utah. USA 25/06/1924 and deceased same place 25/06/1924

Mark - regarding divorce, unlike our records which are all grouped together for the whole of England - each state had it's own birth marriage and death records, some listed divorces, some didn't. There's none on Ancestry for Utah, which is where I've got info from.

There are a number of pay per view sites that have more US records. Would suggest googling.
