To all who helped me - I have sent away for a Birth Cert. for Edward Pugh I am in agreeance with Jonesey's last post the only thing that has me wondering is the 1891 Census entry for Elizabeth Emma I have her birth cert and it is Edith Emma 1883. Anyhow first things first.Thankyou all so much it has made the mud much clearer. Marilyn |

there is no Elizabeth Emma on staffs bmd or on freebmd so likely to be either a transcription or an enumerator error on the 1891 census |

Yes Ann that agrees with the certificate I have, and this being the case then the census record where they have the surname Fugh would be the correct one. |
