Also Samuel appears to be born Middlesborough and Helenor in Sussex ...not Guisborough !

the residence came from the 1881 census, i cannot find a sir name for emma without a marriage cert cheers

What surname did you look for when searching for Emma's birth ?
and how did you come by it ?
Also, where does your info come from re : place of birth ?

Have you got a birth cert for one of the children? This would give her maiden name.

If the above is correct couple then You might have to recheck her birthdate ( she would only be 13 if born 1853 )

hi i have drawn a blank again trying to trace my great grand mother and great grandfather emma born in coleshill warwickshire 1853 been onto warwickshire and they have no records of her birth or marriage also been onto guisborough where samuel was born 1845 they have no records of birth or marriage like wise their sons james and samuel and daughter helenor all born in guisborough i have wild guessed their marriage for 1870 and there is no record anywhere can anyone help me cheers regards malcolm
