Find Ancestors

I have a line on these names going back to a birth in 1490. However, I know there are details on the family name back to the 10th century. I cannot, however, make the jump that would take me back to my Norman ancestry. There are other researchers far more learned than me, but there do not appear to be any citations for the information, and I am reluctant to jump on the band-wagon without being able to prove (as far as is possible) the connection.

I have the birth of Henry Zouch (1490-1562) whose Father is believed to be John de la Zouch, (c1466). I have 5 children for Henry who (I believe) was married to Agnes. One of the girls is also called Agnes, so I think it might be a fair bet that this information is correct. I have Robert, Edward, Agnes and Ann (but without any d.o.b) and William born/bap. 1535.

If anyone can help with my quest I would be most grateful. Likewise, if anyone would like the info. I have, they would be most welcome.

The Zouche arms have the gold bezants on red which usually signify that the bearer was at some point of tenant of de Busli who held feudal tenure from the Norman kings all over England.
