l think either george die in the war and ruth re married and they kept the kids names as colclough

As requested several times can you post all the details on the marriage including occupations and witnesses.

But for my point can you get the birth certificate out ...

At the bottom where it says

CERTIFIED to be a true copy of an entry blah blah..what is the date?

I really think that 90% of this thread is a huge red herring, because I agree with Maureen, George and Ruth are not your ancestors at all.

Thanks - try and post the date on the birth certificate...not her date of birth or the date it was registered but the date that it is certified a true copy

Looking at Thomas Chambers' WW1 record taught me something....I didn't realise there were potentially several pages to scroll through. So now I have to look at all the WW1 records I have (thankfully not too many) and see what pages I hadn't looked at previously!
