Alot of Overens in Oldham and I've just seen that there's an Overens Street in Oldham. Is it named after someone in the family?

Dear NanaSue,
Thanks for taking an interest! Kay is my husband's sister but came back to the UK to marry!
I just saw today that John (son) and Matthias (father) took a trip in 1931 but I thought they were coming back from Bombay. Is this the same trip or the outgoing leg?
I'm guessing they both missed the 1931 census if they were overseas...
Many thanks,
Lucy Bickley
