Just a thought, if Sarah Gloyns was from Jersey then they may have married there, in which case we won't find a marriage on the usual BMD records.

Sarah Gloyns was married to Edward not Edwin? I dont know where they got married I cant find a marriage certificate, I have children as Edwin (jersey), William (whitechapel), Henry (bethnal green)
I think Edward was at some stage may have been called Edwin in error, and Gloyns I havent seen with an 'e'.
I have a copy of Williams birth cert 1850

Tell you what folks, you are stars.
If any of you are still about, and I promise you from my limited resources I have managed on my own to find out a fair bit but have come to a halt on EDWINS family, we now know he was born in c1876 and died 1965, thanks to you. But his father, also Edwin born c 1846 in Jersey, dont know when he died??? married to Mary Ann nee Mahoney 1886 (second marrige), have been trying to find out when he died and when/whom his first marriage was to, as his children were from his first marriage.

Secondly his father EDWARD appears on census in about 1851 and then completely disapears. Born c1824 married to Sarah Gloyns Devonport.

Can you do it again?? :-(
