I found it amongst some old bits I had for BC when I was looking for a marriage of my g uncle ..(remember I mentioned him going to New Westminster also)..

Leslie....Came by this by chance dont know if you have this...note "stove maker" next to Roberts name..think it should be shoemaker....
I believe this may be the transc.from original record.

Hi again Eringobragh
Thanks for the last post , I did have some of it but not all.
The tree I am researching is for my sister inlaw who lives in Calgary Alberta, she married my wifes brother.
My wife and I also lived in Calgary for 7 years 1993 to 2000, our children and grand babies pulled us back to the UK.

Havent been able to find anything else about William Best who enlisted 1914...Canada is not that easy to sort through....!
It was interesting that your John ended up in "New Westminster"...my g uncle ended up there also...

Cant make out his place of enlistment...looks like "VALCANTUR"...
NOK...Rbt. Templemore St.
So all the boys emigrated apart from James Edward...
They all seem to have survived the war...!!!

Aghalee is in Co. Antrim, but it also borders with Co. Armagh, and Lurgan is a town in Co. Armagh, but iit is also a civil parish which crosses over into Antrim, Down & Armagh
