Certificate arrived - back to square one !

so Mildred Mary Ellen Cushing was born 16/10/1908 with her father recorded as Edward Cushing b 1868 and her mother Ellen Cushing, formally Day b 1876

NO record exist of their marriage although the 1911 Census states about 1907

We are however able to confirm that the couple had another child Albert E T cushing in 1912 who died in 1913

Sorry, David, I still can't find anything! I found an Ellen Day, POB St Alkmunds, Derby, but she seems to have married a Whitehurst and is with him on the 1911.

Hi Christina

Yes been looking at this one too but cannot actually link this family to our cushing in the 1911 census.

However they is a tentative link looking at the family names, Thomas, Edward and Mildred. I will keep looking and try and track this family forward.

thanks for your help
