	yes its beautiful my ancestors {theres a few of them there too }were so lucky to be born and bred there on one occasion we were in seaton went on the tram there to colyton and back saw groups of bird watchers on way we hope to go to beer again next year beautiful place and i have a number of friends there that we made from holidaying there each year

Member Since: June 2003 Posts: 9,301 Send Message	Interesting piece about Caddys Row. http://www.beer-devon.co.uk/BeerHeritage/BeerHeritageSite/VillageSite/BeerHeritage.htm There was a row of houses which swept from the entrance of Cadiz Court in New Cut, behind and roughly parallel to Fore Street in a crescent shape, down to where Creole Cottage opposite the Dolphin Hotel now stands. This was called Cadiz Row, pronounced Caddies Row and was the Spanish Quarter of Beer.
