Is this where you have seen the sen?

If you look at the original it has Robert Laverick Sen age 64 as Head of Household with a Robert Laverick Jun (Junior) aged 26, a son also in the household.

If this is the correct Evelyn she would have been 41/42 when she married in 1933, is that the right sort of age for your m-in-laws Mum? It doesn't fit with the Evelyn Hatton death found earlier.

If a 1913 birth is correct as per age at death, then it is highly unlikely that her mother was born in 1848.

The marriage certificate as suggested already should give the name and occupation of her father at time of her marriage and that might help pinpoint the parents.

Without knowing in what context you have seen Robert sen Laverick, it is difficult to say what the sen means, a guess would be "Senior". Was it on a census, perhaps there was a son Robert too.

I think the only way to trace Evelyn's family would be to get the marriage certificate to get her age and name and occupation of her father.
