His first marriage was to my 3x Grt Grandmother Mary Attwood in 1837 Name:Robert Dudley Gender:Male Marriage Date:7 May 1837 Marriage Place:Exbury, Hampshire, England Spouse: Mary Attwood FHL Film Number:1596130 Reference ID:19 Mary was the mother of my 2x Grt Grandfather Wyatt Dudley who was born in 1837. Mary died in 1840 and Robert went on the Mary Elizabeth Tyre January of 1841. I would love to find information regarding Mary Attwood. This is Wyatt's birth registration........ Name:Wyatt Dudley Registration Year:1837 Registration Quarter:Oct-Nov-Dec Registration district:New Forest Inferred County:Hampshire Volume:8 Page:154 Do you think if I purchase a copy of the birth cert it would give me any valuable information regarding Mary Attwood? I somehow think not.

The family were in the registration district of New Forest-----Sub Registration district Fawley in 1841 so that must be her. Name:Mary Dudley Registration Year:1840 Registration Quarter:Jan-Feb-Mar Registration district:New Forest Inferred County:Hampshire Volume:8 Page:129 No I don't have a tree on Ancestry.

	You can't get a cert for the marriage to Mary Attwood The GRO didn't come into being until 1st July 1837 The death cert will tell you her age (as known) and the cause of death, plus informant's details

	Perhaps the missing children emigrated.................. there are no online records for such events before 1890
