It looks like you were right, thank you. It looks like there son Albert born 1888 died age 2 and then they move and had my father who they call Albert.

I didn't know Annie had died.

I don't know his wife's name. I only know my father worked in Wythenshaw Manchester. I was only 6 years old when my mother and father died.

The twins were born in the second half of 1897, and would be only 3 in 1901..........assuming that the death I posted isn't Annie

Any comment on that record, Christina?

You didn't mention that the twin had died...............were you aware of this?

I would be surprised if the family I posted in 1891 census is not the couple who married in 1881

The marriage cert won't help with finding info about your father

As I asked previously, do you have any idea of his wife's name?

LancsBMD shows that Albert and Annie were registered in the St George district of Manchester

I think Jacqueline post is not my family as my father was born in Newton, Hyde, Manchester. I think greyghost post about his parents marriage could very well be the right one, I will have to apply for a copy of the certificate. Although the names are correct I have just found out Kirkdale is in Liverpool.

Is that the correct marriage that Greyghost posted for 1881?
