Oh yes, thank you, that's her... ARDIZZONE is an unusual name, think i'll put a bit of time into that next. i wish I had more time to put into all this.
Thanks everyone, I'll keep looking for those cheeky Lassalle boys!

I know he was at Bangour Village Hospital near Edinburgh for years.. I think he sometimes lived 'in' or at Drechmont and Livingstone. Bangour is now closed and derelict.
I know he was there in 60's and early 70's but no idea before that apart from a reference to him in medical corps during the war.
Frank married 3 times, all in Scotland

ooo.. interesting. I'd had this as a google hit before I found out that George existed (my primary interest is Frank).... funny how this stuff is ever changing. Its important to revisit information. George is pretty easy to follow as he was a social creature and a writer but Frank is a swine... a career as a doctor in an isolated Scottish hospital does not seem to produce much gossip or photographs!

The birth place isn't listed on the 1939 Register!
It does tell you the address where they were living, their declared date of birth and occupation. Other 'open' residents at the same and neighbouring addresses are also shown. 'Closed' records are for those born after 1915 who died either overseas or after 1991.
As Shirley has already discovered that on one relevant record '2 more people who are officially closed', you may not find out anything new.

Wow... thanks, I love everyone's willingness to help on here.
Yes .. Dr C F Lassalle is the father and I'm pretty sure Millicent May is their mother. Both parents seen to to and fro to Trinidad but the children are never listed onboard... I put this down to children being 'in school' I have tried emailing the Trinidad records office about the births of Charles and Francis but with no response.
I guess i am going to have to cough up for the 1939 to see if birth place is listed!
thanks everyone
