Find Ancestors

Right folks, lots to go on here, but much of it confusing or contradictory. However, comparing what you have come up with against what I already know, we can forget about Eardley records. I'm satisfied that the spelling is not enumerator error, but refers to a different family name. The different references all point one way and another to a North Wales origin, whereas the Hurdleys originate probably in what was Montgomeryshire, around Churchstoke, and my branch moved over to the Ironbridge Gorge (Broseley, Madeley, Coalbrookdale), from where my grandfather moved to Manchester in the late 1890s.
So I now need to focus on the Hurdleys you've come up with. Thanks again for these leads and I'll report back on what I find.

Date of his death is from the Probate Record, died in Blackpool but residence was in Conway

The 1954 death can be ruled out as he was 78 at death, so born 1876.

one has him marrying Jane Ann Holker in 1877 and dying in 1878

The other has him marrying Sarah Salina Atkins on 23 December 1933 in Derbyshire and dying in Blackpool on 18 Oct 1954
