There are several Richard Crooks who received Medal and Service Awards in WW1, and some with the RFA, but I can't definitively identify any one of them as "yours".

Richard Crook 23 arrived in United states 19/2/1909 they are on 1910 census there,he was a coal miner she was a house wife.

So they must have come again and returned to USA 1914 on the Aqiutania

They arrived in England on the Lusitania 10/4/1914
