You got me going there! Unfortunately the witness at the wedding was Austin E Cornelius. He was Sarah's brother. Although there are loads of Cornelius in the Faversham area, Alfred Edward doesn't appear to be in this line.

A tree on Ancestry has the birth of a son of Alfred (John Alfred) on 11 December 1947 - so you can scratch him off 1939 register

I do believe the marriage is correct as 1939 register gives correct date of birth.
This looks to be her death:-

Although I’d seen the asylum record for Richard Gillham, I’d dismissed it as being out of area. However, if his daughter Elsie E did marry in Dartford, it does provide a more plausible link.
Sarah A E’s remarriage in 1915 looks good! She doesn’t have much luck with husbands does she? Assuming its correct, it more or less rules out the Australian venture.
Rose – I’d kept wondering if Albert Richard had assumed on O(liver). At least we can discard that one now.

Rose - and you think you were lost?? If I'd added all B, Bap, M or D records, it would have run into 2 pages :-D :-D The Merchant Navy record does look promising.
Thanks for identifying Nellie's death Choccy - no wonder I couldn't find her on the 1939. She married a toy boy and didn't want the age difference to be known. ;-)
