If she had a barrled surname it may have been used instead of White/Whyte which is common in Scotland.,,,,,,perhaps the certificate for John born 1896 may show her full names used.plus Scottish birth certificates usually give parents date of marriage.

So this family in this census is not the Milne family I am looking for.

not found them in any census report and yes looked in Scottish People that's where I found wedding certificate

Sounds as if it would be a Scottish records , presume you have looked on Scotlands People
