Hello

Could some kind soul please do a 1939 Register check please? I

Its for an elderly chap by the name of George Lane b1930 in London who was evacuated to Outwood in Wakefield, Yorkshire at the start of the war.

He lived with the Harrison family on Rooks Nest Road, Outwood, Wakefield.
He was wanting to find any info on the Harrisons but his memory isn't too good.

I'm hoping to get the names of the Harrison family members and take it from there.

Many thanks
Cassie

He's obviously living, so his won't be an open record in 1939

Looking at the image of the 1939 posted above, it doesn't give any credence to the suggestion that the closed record is that of George Lane - both the first and last letters of the name are below the line.

This is another pre-1939 child of the marriage.......admittedly the last letter of her forename shouldn't be 'below the line', but...........................

As the gentleman is still alive then it’s not possible to search on his name of course

Perhaps he can remember something more about the household

For instance were there other children in the same house and any names
